About TLP-SP

The Transformational Leadership Program – Scholarships and Partnerships (abbreviated to TLP-SP) is a Cooperative Agreement between USAID and World Learning that commenced on February 26, 2014.

The overarching program goal is to develop a cadre of leaders to drive significant change in Kosovo’s priority economic, political, and social areas. In addition, the program aims to develop the capacity of Kosovars to bring about transformational change through opportunities for advanced education, instant payday advance, leadership development, and technical assistance.

To accomplish these important goals, TLP-SP focuses on the following activities:

[1] The creation of an Advisory Committee that will oversee the entire Transformational Leadership Program, including the creation and management of a Secretariat for that Committee;

[2] The placement and monitoring of 185 scholarship participants in U.S. Master’s programs, and 102 participants in Professional Certificate programs;

[3] The creation of university partnerships and exchanges that will support collaboration between U.S. universities and the University of Prishtina and/or other higher education institutions in Kosovo.
